Product Management & Technology

Nirvay works through the entire life-cycle of software product management, from visioning of the product to the actual development and delivery of the product. Nirvay also works to understand the customer requirements and works towards the right product-market fit.

Client Concerns

  • Are my product features simple and intuitive to understand?

  • Do I have a proper feedback channel to get customer feedback? Have ensured the diversity of viewpoints from customers?

  • How do I prioritize the next feature to build? Have I evaluated it against the business context?

  • Am I able to provide a personalized experience at scale with the product?

  • Have I set my timelines correctly, in line with business needs and feature complexity?

  • Have I mapped the market correctly, so that my features are not outdated quickly?

  • Is my resourcing right for the product deliverables that I have?

  • Have I scoped the product right? What should be the right model to price the product?

Our approach

Understanding customer needs

Both said and unsaid needs are captured, with multiple channels being established for customer feedback. This includes understanding of competition, customer surveys, and also testing user acceptance with rough mock-ups. It’s also important to regularly communicate with the users for an iterative feedback.

Balancing of roadmap priorities

It’s important to involve the different stakeholders in roadmap prioritization, and communicate the ‘why’ for the prioritization. Roadmap should be drawn up as per the sprint planning, with some flexibility built in for market feedback.

Product launch adoption

It’s good to have iterative feedback with mock-ups during product development to increase the acceptance rate at the time of the final product delivery. Product is not just the software product but also associated collateral like training guides, videos, and simplifying the migration to the new product experience.

Post-launch feedback and iteration

There is a continuous  effort to get feedback pot launch and also manage the subsequent product road-map. A good practice would be to identify key customers who could be an advisory group providing feedback for continuous improvement. Prioritization of feedback for the product is a key activity that needs to take into account market and competitor activity.
